It looks like it an Android app, and I use Apple products. Thanks for asking, though.

It’s wonderfully simple and versatile, especially for basic blogging needs.

It’s also a great teaching tool–a non-profit I worked for used Canva to teach principles of design to pre-teens.

Thanks for your response. As an editor, I tend to go above and beyond what I say I will do. I’ve always received great testimonials on the editing I do.

1. I pay for two rounds of editing – developmental when the book is in an early draft stage and final when I’ve taken the book as far as I can by myself. For that final stage, I need a combination copy and line and developmental edit. I need the grammar checked but please don’t restrict yourself to just that. If a paragraph is clunky, tell me it needs to be reworded. If a character is coming off as 1D, let me know.

2. Success in indie publishing relies as much on quantity as it does quality. I want my product to be the best possible, but when I’ve solicited that final stage editing from you, I’m looking to make all the quick fixes that I can and get it out the door so I can get to producing my next book. Each book doesn’t need to be a masterpiece so don’t tell me that the entire story needs to be rewritten from scratch. Instead, give me concrete, actionable items that can be addressed to give the readers the best experience possible.

Comment on 4 Writing Goals I Revisited for This Awesome Year by Michele L. Mathews https://beachgirlpublishing.com/4-writing-goals-i-revisited-for-this-awesome-year/#comment-57 Wed, 13 Jul 2016 15:32:02 +0000 http://beachgirlpublishing.com/?p=503#comment-57 In reply to G. R. McNeese.

I think making the goals more attainable is better. If you set the goal too high, then you feel like you failed. If you set smaller goals or take a big goals and break it down into steps, then you will feel much more successful as you hit each goal. Good luck!

Basically, some goals are in progress, while I scrapped one. I think the big thing with me is that I talked so much about completing these goals that I psyched myself out into putting forth the effort to see them through. Case in point: writing this novel that has eluded me forever. It may get to the point where I change this goal to something more attainable. We’ll see.
